General Dental Scheme (GDS)

Curran Dental is proud to participate in the South Australian Dental Service - General Dental Scheme (GDS). We welcome all patients eligible for the scheme.

The scheme is designed to provide general treatment. Some procedures are fully covered by the scheme while others requires a contribution up to a maximum amount.

If you have received a GDS form, contact our clinic on 86823475 to arrange an appoinment. Please be aware all treatment must be completed within 4 months of the form being issued.

At your appoinment ensure you bring along a valid GDS form and either a current Pensioner Concession Card or a current Health Care Card.

 

The scheme is open to adults and children of all ages and covers a range of services, including

  • Check-ups

  • Simple fillings

  • Preventative treatment

  • Extractions

  • Root canal treatment

Before proceeding with treatment we must check a patient's eligibility for GDS with the SA Dental. The GDS is designed to make dental care more affordable for those who need it most.

Eligible patients can visit any dentist who is registered with South Australia Dental Service (SADS). To confirm you eligibility please talk to Curran Dental's friendly Reception team in Port Lincoln on (08) 8682 3478.
